Tyre pressure?

Over inflation will cause premature wear on the centre of the tread meaning you'll be replacing them quicker. Under inflation will wear the shoulders quicker.
I'd name and shame the place that did them.
As said above, buying a decent pressure gauge is a worthwhile investment as even the best rated tyre can suffer compromised performance if they aren't correctly inflated.
Just used a petrol garage, as my pressure warning light went off.
I presume they are calibrated?

Does anyone remember about ten years ago the tyre places tried to promote filling tyres with pure nitrogen, for a premium of course. It was supposed to have benefits. Yeah, sure :)
It is claimed that nitrogen leaks less than air as the molecules are larger and so can't get through the rubber as quickly. Nitrogen is used in aircraft tyres where much higher pressures are used.

My TPMS light went on New Years Eve so pressure may have dropped with the cold weather, all 4 of my tyres got pumped back up to 33psi. Had to reset the tyre pressure setting on the car again also.

Tbf Nissan used to do that in its gtr. Nitrogen is less orine to pressure changes due to heat I believe.
Entirely unnecessary on a road car of course
