TV Series they should bring back

The beauty of the older classics is that they didn't go stale, They weren't allowed to hang around long enough for it to happen.
The philosophy behind television has changed with increased commercialism.

Another vote for Spooky Wooks. Whilst the last series struggled somewhat surely there’s bags of domestic material for a new one?

Far from it, I like modern comedies too such as 'It's Always Sunny...', 'Silicon Valley', 'Veep' and others. My point was, at some point a show will run out of steam and in my mind it's far better to quit while you're ahead than to just get to the point where you're phoning it in and risk tarnishing the whole thing. Look at the reactions to the last season of GoT to see how it can impact a shows legacy.

Always Sunny is probably another example of a show that should have quit whilst it was ahead.
Went downhill these last few season.

Can honestly say that the final season of GoT ruined the whole show for me, lost any real appetite to ever revisit the show as the payoff is so terrible.

Quite enjoyed 1864 which was on BBC 4 a Danish TV Production, or Wallander Swedish TV version also played on BBC 4 with English subs. Imuch prefer Krister Henriksson to Kenneth Brannagh.

has to be A Touch of Frost for me

just something wonderfully 'easy' about watching it - and another breeding ground for a number of the 'big' stars of today

Love thy neighbour , there is a black version out that’s probably worth a look .
