Turkish Referee Punched by Club President

I never noticed at first but watch the guy on the right in the camel coloured coat boot the ref whilst he is on the ground. Coward.

I saw someone on Twitter saying this is actually in Greece, no idea if that's correct.
The article on the BBC is saying Turkey and there is a quote from Erdogan.

Football in Greece is being played behind closed doors due to fan violence at games.

From the BBC: Turkish football bosses suspended all leagues after a referee was punched to the ground by a club president following a top-flight game on Monday.

Hardly surprising it happened there first given the intimidating atmosphere that games in Turkey are famous for.
I'd imagine that the club president will be jailed and lose his position, but the big question will be wether the club faces massive sanctions too or will they pin it all on the president?
If club officials have approached the ref en masse then I'd hope the club is punished. Something extreme like relegation to the 3rd tier would be in order and provide a threat for the future. If the club escape punishment then it might not discourage others.

I’d go further than that, the fans were cheering when the president punched him so no sympathy for them either, I’d disband the club and make them start again at what ever the lowest level is in Turkey next season.

Sort of thing you’d expect at the SOL, well they did appoint Paolo di canio
