It’s certainly gonna be an interesting one when Silva leaves next season! Wouldn’t surprise me if they just play Bernardo there and Foden again limited to sub appearances. But I hope not as I really rate him and want him to become an England greatIf he's lucky the 'English Messi' sensation might get a cap before his 21st birthday!
Hand on heart, I think Pep will **** himself in the summer at the gap between them and Liverpool, and spend huge on a midfielder to replace Silva. The money's there and he'll find it irresistible to do so (assuming Pep even stays). It’s certainly gonna be an interesting one when Silva leaves next season! Obviously we all doubt it will happen but if they managed to pull the free transfer signing of Messi off that is being spotted around by a few papers then that’s the replacement sorted.Hand on heart, I think Pep will **** himself in the summer at the gap between them and Liverpool, and spend huge on a midfielder to replace Silva.
The chances of him putting his faith in Foden, with such a mountain to climb, are slim imho.
If we get to this time next season and Foden is still making sporadic sub appearances at the age of nearly 21, he will have to leave if he wants to come even close to fulfilling his potential.
It is. It would be very interesting to see how Messi does in the PL. If he wasn't successful, could it sway the Ronaldo-Messi argument in CR7's favour?Obviously we all doubt it will happen but if they managed to pull the free transfer signing of Messi off that is being spotted around by a few papers then that’s the replacement sorted.
Imagine a midfield and forward line of Rodri, De Bruyne, Messi , Sterling , Aguero, Mahrez.
That’s actually frightening
Or it could be that the political posters have all jumped ship?Look at the old board, now quite a few have jumped on to the new board there isn't one political thread on the opening page of the old board, IMHO, they were posted to get a reaction, now no challengers on & they've stopped
Have you seen much of Barça since Setien arrived Block? I think things are slowly getting better, The Athletic performance in the cup was good despite the defeat and a good win against Betis on Sunday night despite Sergi Roberto. The squad is paper thin without Suarez and that and their inability to defend will be their downfall in the CL I'm sure.I’m the biggest Messi fan going, even have his name tattooed on my **** . So I will always favour Messi, but you will have CR fanboys preying he comes and doesn’t rip up . But if he did come, he would be unreal in my opinion.
Yeah mate, seen every game bar the cup defeat. I agree they are slowly getting better, it’s Definetly better than it was under Valverde and Seiten Doesn’t seem to have his favourites which was part of Valverdes downfall in my opinion. I do think there best bet is just to get messi on the ball and for midfielders and forward to just run in behind when he gets the ball, the De jong goal the other night was brilliant.Have you seen much of Barça since Setien arrived Block? To be fair if Madrid don't win the league this year then to me it shows a poor league, Atletico are terrible, Barça not firing on all cylinders and yet they haven't pulled away.
Re. Griezmann, I'm not a fan either, it was an ego signing from the president and no fans wanted him. To be fair to him though the defensive side of his game ad tracking back has been impressive, he's obviously good because Atletico have only scored 14 goals this season without him! He's just not the right fit for Barça.

More likely is that everyone is tired from Brexit. People are now in a lull waiting until Boris starts his long parade of f*** ups. The political stuff will be back in spades then.Or it could be that the political posters have all jumped ship?
Fingers crossed that my team gets promoted this season. Then we can see all of the big teams here. If they maintain current prices I would see the lot for 315 euros. Even with an increase in season tickets prices it would still be good value. To be fair if Madrid don't win the league this year then to me it shows a poor league, Atletico are terrible, Barça not firing on all cylinders and yet they haven't pulled away.
