Transfer Updated !!!

Cant say ive got any excitement for next season. :(
Seconded (and I normally try to avoid being pessimistic).

Covid has completely changed the finances at all clubs and therefore players will need to reassess over the summer just how much they think their services are worth. I think we all agree that player wages will have to come down.

But herein lies our problem - we historically payed over the odds to attract players. We have just had a large turnover of players (a good thing as they were expensive dead wood) and we desperately need bodies in. How are we going to attract players when we have no money and a ‘Marmite’ manager?

I’m no bed wetter, but I’m of the opinion we will be outside of the playoffs next season. The manager will leave and we will be back to square one.

Anyhow, what do I know? I hope I’m wrong. UTB 👍

I’ve said this before on other posts regarding recruitment, Doesn’t matter who we’re linked with some fans are going to moan, “he’s not good enough, he’s rubbish “ etc etc. We have to accept that those we do bring in will have to be within our budget and that may mean someone from the lower leagues. In 1985 we bought a guy from a little known Scottish team called Albion Rovers. He didn’t turn out too bad did he? But if this board had been running then, the knives would have been out big time. Bit of positivity needed lads. UTB

If we had money we’d have to wait until after the euros and same for any premier league loans . We might make a couple of surprises once the wheels are in motion next month .

It's not just scouting. Apparently dikjsteel and bola were duds. It's been proven the right manager is important in developing and flourishing talent we buy.

Whoever comes in next season is it going to be more of a Warnock team and he’s going to facking smash it in his last ever season…UTFB!

Well, never say never, I heard Leigh-Anne Pinnock was seen viewing a house on Haddon Street earlier today.
