If you could get one bus, without changing, from Nunthorpe, Marton, Hemlington, Acklam, Ingleby Barwick etc to Darlington Railway Station via Teesside Airport, it would be FULL! I am going to Benidorm soon, flying from Teesside Airport. If I could get a bus from the “Coronation Hotel” to Teesside Airport to get me there in 30 minutes I would use it rather than get a taxi. If I wanted to go to London I would rather get picked up from the “Coronation Hotel” by bus to take me to Darlington Station rather than drive there and leave the car in a car park or get a taxi. It’s not complicated. Teesside doesn’t need expensive rail links.

It's not just about getting to Darlington or the Airport though, It's about having a decent infrastructure for getting around our own region with frequent trams. I would say we need that.

We need everything set out in that statement but its all down to finance. We should always be looking at improving the area.
