Saying my tickets not eligible for refund(for the Hull game(we had three).
Anyone care to join in and create a chorus on Twitter? There must be thousands of football supporters affected across the country for the three weeks’ worth of games.

They'd only say you shouldn't have booked cheap Advances. They can't be refunded but can be changed to another date for a fee of £10 a ticket.

That's a bit steep, but some companies don't charge at all, whilst others will only charge one fee for each total transaction.

Or keep your eyes open on the timetables. If there's disruption and your booked train doesn't run you are entitled to abandon your journey and claim a fee-free refund from your ticket seller.

I think this calls for a big sack of leaves to be deposited on the line just before your non required train is due to leave.

Transpennine Express are refunding rail travel even for non-refundable tickets, if you're travelling with them. Not sure about other rail companies.
