Trail running shoes

How technical are the trails you're running on? Summer's round the corner, you might not really need anything particularly "traily" for a good while. Personally I wouldn't have a shoe for both, I'd have a pair for road & another for trail (or just use road shoes on mild trails) (y)
Really good point. my road shoes are very light and not particularly supportive on the ankles.

Nothing technical about my trails, generally go off road through fields/ moors and just very variable terrain and often quite unforgiving/ damp in places.

Inov 8 X talon 200s (red). Fantastic shoe. The old Terraclaw is a great show too.
Just bought some Altra Lone Peak Allwthr mid boots which I use for walking and easy trail running. Love the wide toe box.

When did you do your Camino exeterboro? Which route did you take?
I fancy doing it later htis year, Covid permitting.
I have done a few now, the main route which most people new to Caminos take as being the only Camino route is the Camino Frances from St Jean Pied De Port in France to Santiago, true it is the most popular but there are many routes around Spain which feed into larger ones then they eventually feed into or the 5 or 6 which directly go into Santiago, there is some absolute stunning ones on all kinds of natural terrain, waymarking and infrastructure. The Spanish website Gronze is a good place to start, it gives details on some of the routes.
Buen Camino
