Tories back in poll lead, didn't take long ...

I'm not overly concerned about getting a Labour majority and would be happy with them being the largest party and running either a minority government or a coalition with the more progressive parties. The key thing for me is ensuring the Tories have no chance of power at all, and if they don't get a majority I struggle to see them forming a government.

Exactly, a coalition has a chance of getting rid of FPTP as well.

Boris is FINISHED - How can you not 'know' what's going on in your own house?

When last year millions of families played by the rules, he's finished

I know polls should be taken with a pinch of salt but there seems to have been a huge change - the Tories do two things better than anything else the first being corruption and the second being self preservation. In order to continue with their dodgy contracts and stealing from the poor they need to be in power and the massive shift in opinion must be yet another nail in the coffin of Johnson.

Yes, individual polls should be taken with a pinch of salt, I always look at the poll of polls and the trend is clear.

I suspect Boris Johnson will hang on as long as possible regardless.

Know your enemy
Corbyn's enemies included the party executive who were sabotaging him from inside the party and were in panic when, in 2017 the results were looking encouraging. They thought they had failed.
His enemies also included sitting MP's who in 2017 were seen looking grim, and the likes of Jess Phillips who was caught laughing and joking on camera as the 2019 results rolled in.
Wasn't the 'lesser of two evils' a thing in those days?

This is all true.

After 2017 his main enemy was himself.

You may be right, I don't think you are. But none of this explains why I, a former member of the party who saw his money misused against the elected leader in order to allow the Tories to remain in power, should suddenly buy into the 'lesser of two evils' agenda.

You wouldn't suddenly be buying into it, you would be remaining consistent and true to your earlier espoused ideals. It was those others, who opposed Corbyn, that you rightly condemned, yet now you do the same. It is understandable, but it being understandable, forgivable even, doesn't mean it is what you should do. What you should do, is be better than them.
