Heard the same from so many people, a bunch of nurses said it left them emotionally drained! All that testosterone flying about I imagine.

We're going next week.
 
Saw it Thursday night and was disappointed.

The plot wasn't great, characters like Penny benjamin just shoehorned in and unlike the first film this one wasn't believable. A nod here and there to the first film would have been great but there was one every 5 minutes and in parts they tried to make it into a comedy. It reminded me of Mission Impossible in planes.

I think they wasted a chance to make something epic and just went for something that was good that would coin it in.

The flying scenes were amazing though. Without these it would have been a B movie.
 
I have a unfounded and truly illogical dislike of Tom Cruise as an actor. When I have watched his films(Interview with a vampire, War of the worlds and Edge of tomorrow immediately spring to mind)I have actually enjoyed them and find him to be a rather versatile actor. But when I am looking for a film to watch and I see that Tom Cruise is in it my stubbornness and mind block kicks In and I skip to the next film.

Loved it. Wanted to be entertained and wasn’t disappointed. I didn’t go expecting anything thought provoking or anything with a message. The flying scenes were amazing.
It struck me that the enemies weren’t labelled, they were just baddies.

Cracking film. They manage to keep you in it all the way through and has every action film cliche going.
All lined up for yet another one.

He's an odd one TC. He's one of those weird scientologists yet when he was in the area filming recently people had nowt but good things to say about him and he always interviews well.
He ate at my local and took the time for selfies and chat for anyone and everyone that wanted it.
 
Saw it last night . I thought it was amazing and one of the few sequels equally as good if not better . Was emotional watching it as the original is one of my favourite movies being just of the the right age when it came out . Really loved it
 
I loved it. If you like top gun you'll like this. It's that simple. Thought the ending was way way over the top but other than that it was just simple good fun
