Tonight's FA Cup Games

Wait, what? Ashley Young’s son is on the bench for Peterborough? And if he comes on it’ll be the first time a father and son have played against each other in FA Cup history? Why didn’t anyone mention it before now?

Why are the TV commentators consistently rabbiting on about it being a very difficult day for everyone connected with Everton? Did someone die or was it just the ginger dalek getting sacked?
If they think that’s been difficult, wait till they get relegated 🙄

I watched the first half hour of the Sheffield U game, just coz I had some time to spare. Tiny crowd, no atmosphere but the game was ok tbf. More or less U23s type of game

Modern football in a nutshell from Peterborough tonight. I’ve lost count of the number of times they’ve worked the ball into a crossing position only to turn back, play it back and end up back at their own ‘keeper. It is absolutely horrible to watch.
Hello from the Fens

Posh made zero effort to win that game. I’m disappointed for their fans but why would they though ? They are up against it in League One. Priorities and all that. Everton were equally bad.

Yeah that's a bit shoddy
The entire reason TV picked the game, moved jt to a Thursday night thus ruining the chance for many Peterborough fans, mainly schoolchildren, to go.

well done Fergie Jnr for not sticking him on and giving the TV companies their w@nkfest.

Fair point, I agree 🙂 but it would've really nice for the lad and cost the team nowt.

He’s got one start this season. In an EFL
Trophy game.

It was never going to happen.

I feel more empathy for the Posh fans that couldn’t go because the game got unnecessarily moved to a Thursday night.

Fully aware I’m being a right grumpy sod over this

Everton v Wycombe Wanderers on a wet Tuesday night with a home game against Barnsley on Saturday would be sweet. Both clubs could get promotion from Division III this season.

Nice stadium mind ya
