Steve Cooper brings Kyle Naughton and Ben Cabango into his defence for Swansea City’s play-off semi-final first leg at Barnsley.

The head coach prefers Naughton and fit-again Cabango to Connor Roberts and Ryan Bennett in the two changes from the defeat at Watford on the final day of the season.

That means Golden Glove winner Freddie Woodman continues in goal, with Naughton and Cabango lining up alongside Marc Guehi and Jake Bidwell in the back four.

Skipper Matt Grimes is once again joined by Jay Fulton and Conor Hourihane in midfield, while the front three is also unchanged.

Liam Cullen continues to lead the line, supported by Jamal Lowe and Andre Ayew.
The hosts also make two changes as captain Alex Mowatt and in-form striker Daryl Dike come in for Jasper Moon and Conor Chaplin respectively.

Barnsley: Brad Collins, Callum Styles, Mads Andersen, Callum Brittain, Cauley Woodrow, Daryl Dike, Toby Sibbick, Romal Palmer, Alex Mowatt (captain), Dominik Frieser, Michal Helik.

Substitutes: Jack Walton, Jordan Williams, Liam Kitching, Conor Chaplin, Carlton Morris, Aapo Halme, Michael Sollbauer, Victor Adeboyejo, Jasper Moon.

Ah that makes sense. You are a frustrated pensmith spending time researching the net to put these threads together. You clearly love doing it.

Was on the Swansea forum and they were giving Hourihane a right slagging off. Surprised me as it looked like he started off on fire there in January 🤔

Hard to believe Barnsley are in the playoffs based on this first leg performance. Swansea not that much better either — if either of these two go up they’ll probably return toute suite.
