Tommy Smith

Was captain for a few years at Huddersfield, nothing new to him. Can never have too many captains / shouters / organisers in the team 👍
 
It's brought up so many times about what a leader and character he is in Carricks and team mates interviews. Most recently by Forss who credited him with helping him settle on the right.

He's a big part of what we are doing.

Also Lenihan. The pair never shut up and also the first to lead the goal celebrations. Then almost as quickly you can see then telling everyone to 'switch on'.

I'd love the club to announce a contract extension. Just keep the feel good factor going. He's already earned it. He's not like Peltier. Still plenty of years in him.
 
Our own Gary Neville. All good teams have players like Smith. Not flash, but knows the score and knows exactly what is required.
 
He is mint, being saying for months I can't speak highly enough of him, I used to play as forward I would hate to play against him he is like girlfriend that won't **** off
 
Thought he had a dodgy first half actually, quite a few misplaced passes, felt he was missing Forss in front of him and he was left to do more defending than he has been used to.

But like most other players, better in the second half.
