Boro player to start a 1st team match for the mighty Boro then never seen again, during my time following the Boro from 1971

Tom Patterson played his only game wearing the No9 shirt, when standing in for Alan Willey, at home to Birmingham 14th december 1974 in a 3-0 win

Today the 3rd March 1981 wearing the No7 shirt, in the absence of Terry Cochrane, Colin Blackburn played the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 away defeat at Forest

Edward Coleman born in Middlesbrough signed for Boro as pro September 1975, making his debut at 18 on the 24th April 1976
He was released & signed for Workington in May 1977, making 10 appearences, scoring one goal

There are quite a few, my post was regarding the 2nd one, Colin Blackburn, which was actually the 3rd as Almeria rightly pointed out, happened today,
 
Eddie Coleman made 1 appearance away at Villa in 76 and cannot remember him at all,do you have any information about him.
Ted (or Teddy) Coleman is a local lad who was probably second only to Mark Proctor in local “schoolboy football” legend. I think he went to Southlands.
