Not much chance with the goal and they should have scored another when he was rounded but he made a couple of very good saves when we were stretched at the back. He's not done bad so far as a stand in keeper.
Two outstanding saves tonight. One in the first half from Komora and an even better one in the second half from another screamer from outside the box. We now have two great keepers.
Two very good saves, but we were lucky not to concede from a number of his mistakes too, spills and the wild charge out the box where they then missed an open net.
Though he wasn't solely at fault for that one, the defence made it a difficult situation .
He makes me nervous still, but it's a relief to see that he's capable of pulling off a solid stop.
He's got some very big games to stand in for.
Still getting used to his teammates but doing okay. Comes too far up the pitch when we are in possession for my liking. Bad decision to storm out of his box last night and was lucky not to be punished. Hopefully lesson learned. The need to bring in a keeper to cover Dieng being away may have reduced
I'm also pleasantly surprised. Credit to him. In pre season and early cup games I felt he was a bit frenetic. Nothing in particular just he seemed a little bit nervous with the ball.
But against WBA his distribution was precise and accurate and he has made a few good saves. Agree that his venture off his line wasn't particularly great yesterday though.
If I was being generous, I'd call him an "unconventional goalkeeper" at times. His positioning often leaves a lot to be desired but he's a good shot stopper.
Let's not forget Seny is prone to the odd mad rush out as well, even got sent off while playing for QPR against us as a result.
Glover is doing a good job and has the chance to become a hero against Chelsea over two legs but i'm looking forward to Seny coming back.
He didn't rush or storm anywhere for Huddersfield's chance - he was already there, in the same sweeper- keeper position he and Dieng are told to be in.
It was a combination of Bangura slaloming across the half way line without ever having the ball properly under control, and Rav being 10 yards deeper than everyone else and playing Koroma onside who was most at fault.
I think he did ok last night. Made some saves at vital times but, yes we were lucky with their missed chance in the first half. Just a general point about keepers though - None of them seem to come out for crosses now, seem to leave them for the defenders? Were we spoilt with Mark Schwarzer?
Our way of playing requires a keeper who is top drawer at distribution- particularly range of passing. Only seen the West Brom game live but he did very well in that regard there. If he's also a good shot stopper that's a bonus.
Dieng is my joint favourite signing this season with RVDB though
