Not with that mullet he doesn't, he'll look even more like he's on loan from Amyl and The Sniffers than he does already.

That was a proper howler in the first half where he just slapped it up for Palmer to miss - he’d have got pelters if he’d scored

Even 5 games into his loan in 1983 ?
I tohught he had a really shakey game last night. Made some good saves but if they converted his mistakes he would be ripped to shreads on here I reckon.
Like a lot of the players coming into the team this season, good and bad but looking very positive for the rest of the season if we need him. Most have got better and better with game time too.

A curate's egg of a performance, he did the difficult things well and some of the easy things badly, rode his luck on a couple of occasions but kept a clean sheet.
I personally like a keeper to be clean with his handling rather than spectacular with his saves, I think it puts the defence on the back foot and encourages the opposition to put the keeper under pressure.
Fine as a Number 2 and can do a job when needed, he did well with crosses but needs to work on his ball collection when shots are close to him to progress into a serious first choice contender, Chelsea's profligacy in front of goal certainly helped him last night.
Brilliant result which can only be good for the confidence of Glover and the team as whole, hopefully we can keep another clean sheet at Stamford Bridge and have another trip to Wembley.

Happens to the best goalies, Schwarzer, mentioned about his blunder in 2004 Carling Cup final, on Sky. But like goalies do he redeemed himself for the rest of the final .
