I think all new owners/shareholders spin the narrative of being proper and focused, with the clubs best interests at heart, in reality you usually find out the hard way it’s not the case.

100% he had no idea who they were.

I just don’t think that a US hedge fund would go to the trouble they did to take to the cleaners the previous Chinese owners for the club and the ground and not have a plan for an exit strategy which would involve selling when in the Premier League.
