The impression that he wont play for us again is getting more credible: surely his contract must be up soon?

Was there a suggestion the reason Ameobi crept out the door without a whimper......was due to something we havent been told?
If Fisher`s injury is as bad as it sounds, wouldnt he be taking a massive risk if he tried to play professional football again?
Its alright thinking he`l be ok - but beyond 30 he may have to consider by playing, if the injury may have long term effects?
