Great to see Dijksteel back.
Time for Akpom to deliver.
I like the look of the midfield.
 
Very underwhelmed by that team. Reckon today has 0-0 written all over it but hopefully I'm proven wrong.

He certainly needs to at least try and get involved with the play. The only goal he has looked remotely involved with of late was Stokes. That said, he like Britt is not a lone striker. He looks lost in this system. I would go back to Wing backs. I would also play Roberts behind in a free role, but hey I was brought up that the best form of defence is attack.
The squad make up is the issue and has not been properly addressed since 2015/16

I would do exactly the same. It makes us solid and also gives us that added bit of creativity in the centre of the pitch. I hope we we haven’t given up on it. The only reason I think Warnock is keeping it like that is because he is getting us used to playing this way for when someone like Bolasie arrives in January.
 
Bolasie is not renowned for his tracking back so I can’t see him fitting in at the moment. He’ll need at least a month to get properly match fit and his hamstring will probably go in that time. He won’t be anywhere near the same player he was in his time at Palace. He’ll end up just be sitting alongside Roberts on the bench if he comes in. I’m not pinning many hopes on him turning us around as an attacking unit but I hope I am proved wrong.

Or Watmore and Johnson either side of the striker, which has been the case a couple of times recently if I'm not mistaken. Morsy to sit in front of the defence in the Howson role?
