Ticketmaster Mobile App Tickets for James on Saturday

I have tickets for James/Maximo Park/ Editors etc etc on Saturday but it obviously clashes with the match and weather forecast is not great so I was considering just not bothering. Always knew there was the risk of it clashing when I booked tickets.
I want to give the tickets to a friend who does not go to Boro but there is no transfer option as it is greyed out on PC and App. Can I just screen shot the QR code and send it to them via Whatsapp or something or will it only work on the app.

I actually have three tickets two on one booking and one more for a friend who is not going to match and intends to go to Darlington earlier but I can see no way of getting ticket to here.
 
Surely someone must have an idea or is going. There were enough posts on the thread about the Boro going digital praising it as being all singing all dancing but its obviously falling down for me.
 
i had this issue for Leeds festival tickets last year, in the end the only way round it was to give the person my ticketmaster log in details to log in as me and show the digital pass - it worked okay
 
I bought my tickets from Eventim. They were PDF tickets with a bar code on them, so not an app in sight.
They have my name on so surely the worst that can happen is they will demand to see ID. I can't see it happening myself, mind.
