27th November 1982 - Malcolm Allison as manager
Boro 1 Blackburn 5, they were 4 up within half an hour
Terry Cochrane scoring our consolation goal when we were 5-0 down
Noel Brotherston, RIP, tore us to shreds

Either season 1983-84 or 84-85
Boro 1 Blackburn 2, the reason I'm unsure of season as both games ended with the same scoreline
Kelham O'Hanlon had 'allegadly' received a threat from the IRA regarding the upcoming Blackburn fixture, he played in 83-84 but due to injury didn't play in the 84-85 & Stephen Pears played his 4th loaned game

December 1996 when we refused to send a team to Blackburn, due to an illness within the club, which affected the numbers we could send for a PL fixture

Now you mention it, 2 Boro hat tricks at their place, in a 4-1 win, Alan Kernaghan with a 1st half fat trick on the 21st November 1989 & JFK in a 4-0 win
