Thornaby FC arson attack

Cant see it being kids at 3:30 in the morning on a sunday into monday... Judging by the widespread damage I would guess its someone that knew exactly what they were doing and not just a random act of someone up to no good if you know what I mean

You would be surprised how some of these 'mammy's little angels' act nowadays.

They dont mind getting the Red Eye on a Monday morning to cause some bother.

Well if it is 'kids' then the type of kids that do this sort of thing don't go to regular school and wont need to be up early for it.
 
Disgraceful, just defies belief. What on earth is wrong with these people. Hope they find the scum who did it.
 
In addition to the obvious damage to the football ground itself, the container housed Stockton divers new compressor used to fill dive bottles. It's only been operational for 6 or so months and is now destroyed, causing another small club £x0,000 worth of losses.

Devastating for both clubs
 
It’s hard enough for local clubs to survive but even harder when some scum bag can do this, find the person , make them pay! 😡
 
This is absolutely devastating. There's plenty of 16 year old kids who have finished school (or exams if they even bothered to turn up for them). There's a lot of kids who leave school with aspirations of never getting a job and are quite happy to live their lives on handouts and illicit gains.
 
Thornaby Town U13's arranged for our TJFA game at the end of the season to be played at this ground. it was a great experience for both teams who dont always get the opportunity to use these facilities. We stayed on after the game and enjoyed a few beers as a thank you for the hospitality. like most junior football teams we dont have much by way of funds but we will be donating what we can to help clean this mess up so other teams can hopefully have the pleasure of playing here again in the future. i hope whoever is responsible is found and dealt with swiftly.
