This site on a chromebook

Anyone ? Last 3 -4 weeks the site always freezing on me after just a few mins ,requiring an OS popup to say site is not responding Wait or Close. I've been fine on this chromebook on here for over 2 years. So I tried switching javascript off and hey presto it's fine for reading but obv a lot of the functions get lost. Like I just had to switch it back on to post this . Can only think there is a constant processing loop error in th JS and that's me screwed until a programmer that supplies the code for the site changes it . Any similar observations

Nothing has changed in the site set-up in recent times.

Ok ta, other than my chrome browser updating regularly , nothing has changed my side either. Just really annoying now

I can ask my support to look for any errors. But I cannot think of any changes we have made.

Nothing has changed in the site set-up in recent times.

It's been happening to me Rob for the last few weeks, the page freezes and you have to log out and log back in.

I did wonder if I was on the naughty step.

I’ve been getting issues on safari recently where I’ll be typing a reply and it sometimes just freezes then refreshes itself and I have to start again. Not happened on any other site either ( Edit - Gazette site as well). I expect it’s ad related as when I’ve tried Brave instead, I don’t get the same problem.

Yes happens sometimes for me but you don't have to start typing again. Just press the back button and refresh and it will have saved your previous typing (usually)

Same issue here until I updated it, since when it has been fine.

When writing this page can often refresh itself and what youve wrote disappears , but if you refresh it reappears again .
