This seasons signing

Watching Ipswich and Hull, they both have an abundance of strikers and we're both able to make multiple changes (I mean Kiefer Moore and Liam Delap as subs!).
We were very naive to go into the season with 2 strikers, it's just not enough even without the injuries.

I think we've all been guilty of dismissing our recruitment at times, often with good reason, but we do seem to be unearthing quite a few decent players now.
The good thing in my mind is that we seem to be finding the more technical players after years of workmanlike midfielders and rubbish strikers.
If we can find a pacey left sided player, another striker and a dominating defensive midfielder then we might be able to get top 6. If that striker happened to be a certain 29 goal returnee then I think we'd be in for quite a ride.

Very impressive Scott has made the world of difference and Carrick is using them well best piece of work from Gibson in a long while.
Obviously why Scott was employed and he’s paying back far more than his own salary with some of these signings which is great for the club.
Back of the mind niggle that a by-product of that is bigger clubs will be thinking exactly the same. You’d prefer that than the recruitment we had prior to his arrival though.
