Curtis Fleming had a well earned testimonial at the Riverside against Athletico Bilbao, one of the nice professionals to play for the mighty Boro

Boro paid Shamrock Rovers £50k for Curtis Fleming in the summer of 1991, Curtis was the 611th registered player when he took the field for his debut away to Ipswich Town when he was given the No14 shirt by manager Lennie Lawrence, replacing 1986 legend Gary Parkinson to make his debut
After 10 years at the club were he knocked up 317 games, scoring 4 goals, which included promotions, relegations, changing stadiums, cup finals when in November 2001 he was loaned to Birmingham where he played 6 games, in December he was sold to Crystal Palace for approx £100k

Curtis has had a good career in the game in a coaching capacity & is still going strong to this day

Well done Curtis
