Final match of the season with a simple message from Robbo, win the game & we go up 
After losing 1-0 at Sheffield United the month previous we went on to win 4 on the bounce then a 1-1 home draw with Wolves being our only setback
Going in to half time a bag of nerves the Boro came out the 2nd half & just blew Oxford away, scoring 4 goals & gaining that last automatic place behind Nottm Forest, who had already clinched the promotion
Big Negel, captain couragous played his final Boro game, as did Craig Hignett
A brace from Hignett, what a game to sign off, though, IMHO, he should never have left for Aberdeen & a brace from Alun Armstrong, in front of 30,228 exstatic Boro fans
