This was our 2nd game of a pre season mini scottish tour, we had won the 1st game 2-0 at Motherwell with a returning, new signing David Mills grabbing a brace brace
This day we faced Morton, unfortunately the result went against Willies team, Dave Currie grabbed our goals but Morton ran out 2-1 winners
I recall reading in Willies book 'Extra Time' that he made the players get out of the mini bus before they reached the ground & made them walk the rest of the way, he was embarrassed the way it looked on the club with the manager driving the players in a mini bus, such a great man was WM
