These sanctions…

Just thinking about all the negotiations before the invasion and tough talk from the west, NATO etc.

We are now 4 days in and more troops appear to be entering Ukraine .

What I am struggling to understand is why are these taking so long? We have been expecting this yet hoping for the best for a number of weeks yet we appear to be somewhat still reactive.

1) why was international airspace not close following the invasion.
2) why did it take so long for action on the swift banking payments? And why have they only sanctioned some and not all banks.
3) why haven’t all nato nations expelled all diplomats from the country?
4) all trade / sponsor ext been terminated instantly
5) why is it taking so long to get supplier to Ukraine? Medical, humanitarian and weapons/hardware.
6)all assets of his regime/ oligarchs not frozen. Hitting them where it hurts

I am sure there are many more that could be Imposed on top of these too.

Putin talks about the west been words only and a swift hard response would have had a better impact.

We did little to other acts of Russian aggression (Salisbury/crimea) and he had grown more confident due to lack of action.

Doesn't it feel like a ploy to allow the oligarchs to move their assets? Easy done to a stable crypto or some such in less than a few minutes or hours - it f*cking stinks
