There’s been a distinct lack of Carrick/Gibson out threads these last couple of weeks.

You can of course have an opinion, just don't expect it to carry much weight with the people that run the club. Why is this so hard to understand?
I understand that perfectly well and that’s the exact point many of us are making, the club doesn’t care what the fans want or think and are happy to just continue regardless.

But this doesn’t change the fact that Gibson is running this club badly, which was my initial point. Fans should be able to express that opinion without being called spoiled or entitled

The replies to the OP in the first thread are generally jokey/lighthearted.

There is one reply on the second thread.

Come on it's hardly evidence of posters wanting Carrick to be sacked.

And by the way, you won't find any evidence of me calling for Carrick's head.
Strange comment. Who said you did? I was replying to a post commenting specifically that there was nobody calling for Carrick to go. They are there and oh there are more too but you get my drift. Even Diego started a thread "Enough with the Carrick Out " threads.

Some people are getting defensive now we’ve picked up some wins and points. I think if you go back about a month, five weeks you could hoof about 200 threads that were essentially just a load of the same people slagging off the players, the club, the manager, Woodgate, the chairman, the tactics, Kieron Scott, the scouts. It peaked at half time at Hillsborough. Some of the stuff people were posting was absolutely mad. Almost unhinged IMO.

Nobody said there weren't any calls for Carrick's head but many have said that the number has been grossly exaggerated. But you get my drift.

Well I'm also free to form the opinion that they are spoilt and entitled. And the idea that Gibson is running the club badly is not a fact. It's an opinion expressed by some spoilt and entitled fans.

From 2017 the club has had 8 managers, they have all been sacked minus the current manager, with each new manager brought a huge turnover of players, many of which we lost big amounts of money on

Since relegation we have only finished as high as the playoffs twice

If that’s not an example of a badly run club then I don’t know what is, it’s certainly not entitled to want the club to be better than this

Who are the seven sacked managers?

People have some really short memories, I was continually mocked by a few and accused of being a club media representative, a troll and other things all for having a different opinion to the blood thirsty mob.

Would you have kept them?

I'll leave you to it. At this point. Can't be bothered dealing with mithering fans.

I wouldn’t have given 3/4 of them the job in the first place, it was obvious how managers like Agnew, Warnock, Woodgate, Pulis, Monk would end up

You can’t be bothered because you can’t defend those actions, no one can despite how much they pretend Gibson is the best owner in football

As has been said, Pulis wasn’t sacked. And including Agnew is a bit of a stretch isn’t it? You may as well include Liddle and Leo.
Let go at the end of his contract is basically the same thing isn’t it? Either way he was a failure which was my point.

Agnew was arguably the worst decision Gibson has ever made running this club, he needs to be on the list for that reason alone. He managed the club almost 1/3 of the season

Allowing someone to leave at the end of their contract isn’t the same as sacking them IMO. Otherwise you could say the club has sacked countless footballers over the years.

He was a failure but he wasn’t sacked. And, actually, in my lifetime every single Boro manager bar McClaren has departed a ‘failure’ of one kind or another. Even Rioch, Lennie, Robbo, Aitor. All of them bar one.

Ok 6 managers sacked and 1 released at the end of his contract. However you spin it, it’s still a shocking record for the last 6 years
