That sums it up very well.Yes and they were all shiitting their pants
How very Gibsonesque of you mein fuhrer.that would be your 3rd flounce from the 'new' board wouldn't it?.
milk monitor, prefect, head boy and now acting as an head-master - telling people to 'grow up' because they say something you dont agree with is quite the thing, on this occasion you have a fetish for me using an emojie that is open to all on every post, how that is restrictive in the way you have called it seems somewhat juvenile on your behalf (its usual at this point in your previous attempts at playing the man and not the ball to say "well you started it")
And therefore the call for 'denying free speech' is straight out of "the street idiots book of defences" - perhaps its all part of your wish to 'take back control' - perhaps thats what your narrative and political agenda is, please remind us all again, that as a 'Left of Centre' as you describe yourself & Labour Party member you proudly voted for a Brexit, didnt you? and hurrahed it in to the rafters - the people have spoken you chimed, and how - perhaps it was the sense of 'winning' that made you delirious, victorious and sanctimonious. .
what your rants show is that your political and football judgement is somewhat erroneous & terminal - you have no claim to any high ground, when your living in the swamp
heres your ball - you can take it home..

What had he given me since 2006? Three years of Premier League football, a trip to Wembley, an amazing win at Manchester City, two wins at Old Trafford, automatic promotion, three playoff appearances, the football under Carrick last season was insanely good and a complete pleasure to watch, the defensive record under Aitor being SO GOOD it was almost laughable. I’ve loved Albert, Sir Grant, Ayala, Downing, Chuba’s Miracle Season, Adama Traore, Ben Gibson, Dimi’s run from bloke who makes up the numbers in training to Boro’s No1, Ain’t Nobody Like Nsue, the rise of Hackney, Tav, Coburn and Fry, he brought Mogga home as manager, GEORGE FRIEND, Clayts’ ball hanging out at Arsenal, the run under Chris Wilder, the Red Faction, the 200+ signings made since 2006. I’ve enjoyed loads of stuff in the past 17 years. Bad moments and periods don’t make the good stuff less meaningful or relevant.I have emailed borolad259 and fmttmadin in good faith on this reply and yet to receive a private reply, He, Borolad257 uses the phrase ‘he gave me that’, what has he given any Boro fan since 2006? I value his support his funding, but really what has been achieved since 2006? AS for JVM ‘calling me allegedly out as a spoilt brat’, surely that is your interpretation of emoji’s unless you know him personally, or are him, it is a tad presumptuous at best unless…….
Why the issue on free speech? . I guess i’ll be banned and if i am i’ll be gone forever, and I mean forever, if I receive a private response it will remain private.screen shotted just in case
This thread has taken a turn for the worse. Our resident 'political pygmy basher' has decided to jump in and dish out personal abuse without any justification. Egged on, aided and abetted by admin. Apparently no criticism of the owner is allowed here whether it be sporting or business related. Medals getting awarded between themselves for who is the biggest Boro fan. A sad day.
"But Boro’s time will come again and we will be promoted again."
Amen to that matey.
Could be worse.
I can remember when both Sheffield teams had there stints in the 4th Division and Wolverhampton Wanderers too, I wonder if it embarrassing for them. Leeds Utd, Sunderland, Ipswich spending a few seasons in the 3rd tier
There's 92 of us ya know, all trying our best.
Are we at the limit of FFP? Because looking from the outside we must be comfortably inside the limits with the player sales of the last few yearsBut surely anyone has to stay within FFP - there would be no extra funds available no matter who the owner was.
Hopefully Rob will get to put that question to Steve Gibson at some point in the near future. Are we at the limit of FFP? Because looking from the outside we must be comfortably inside the limits with the player sales of the last few years
Almost certain we won’t be, the club has brought in some big money the last few years and likely reduced wages as well.Hopefully Rob will get to put that question to Steve Gibson at some point in the near future.
Just how far are you willing to watch us drop without calling out the owner because he did well 20 years ago? That'll be because he has been a lifelong boro fan through thick and thin and, after the likes of Charlie Amer, probably has some perspective on owners. We, Boro fans, have had some incredible experiences, simply because we had Steve Gibson as an owner. Now I'm not on the same page as him on some issues but I've seen Juninho, Ravanelli, Emerson and countless other stars in my team's kit, and watched insane moments of European comebacks, so I'm not going to criticise him because he gave me that and he gave me the fact that my club still exists. Sure, you want to criticise him, fine, but don't complain if someone calls you out as a spoilt brat. "I had an icecream yesterday, I want one today as well".
Quite the Drama Queen.that would be your 3rd flounce from the 'new' board wouldn't it?.

Aye it’s strange that a change of ownership can bring very good things, not just the disasters you envisage.Add to that Man City in the third tier.
This is right. As we all know, FFP is only part of the equation when it comes to the financing of the club. Just because we have or may not FFP headroom, the overall losses that the club racks up continue. I’m sure Gibson does his best, but everyone should be able to comment on the state of play at Boro without fear or favor!
What does this have to do with me Col? It’s all positivity at the moment isn’t it? Are you saying I was wrong to hold my positive views of the club?Wow, wow, and wow, and don’t you think i have a fair perspective having followed Boro since 1973 as a season ticket holder? Is your judgement on this tinged in any way? I hope a ban isnt incoming but given your one sided reply, who knows, i thought better of you tbh. What is JVM to you or Boro for that matter? Are you a Quicksilvera fan, Sexpom fan too? They are the same Boro media poster as you well know.
Utterly embarrassing behaviour from a board admin. Sad to say this place is really going downhill. That'll be because he has been a lifelong boro fan through thick and thin and, after the likes of Charlie Amer, probably has some perspective on owners. Probably more akin to Blackburn unless we are in the premier league, albeit with much better support! It seems that views on Gibson are a bit like Brexit - there's no middle ground. For me he has been a fantastic owner, but he can't compete at the top end of the Championship anymore let alone in the Premier League. He's been in sole control now for nigh on 30 years, almost unheard of in football today. There will come a time when this club has to survive without Gibson, see Blackburn (Walker) and Wolves (Haywood).
