Evening all, hope everyone has recovered after the Christmas and New Year parties of late! Tomorrow's game should be a welcome distraction from the excesses of recent weeks, will be interesting to see what sort of a team we put out.

I've had a long working week but unfortunately staying alcohol free this evening as have a client to see in the morning but will no doubt contribute some alcohol to the discussion tomorrow night.

To start us off how's about a classic track from John Miles.

Hello folks, here’s to a good weekend and the Boro progressing to the fourth round of the cup.

‘Letter to You’ as just arrived from Amazon and I’ve got Bruce blasting in the kitchen whilst I cook a Coq au Vin for our evening meal and presently drinking a Badger Golden Champion. This is my first drink since 27 Dec - I finished the antibiotics on Wednesday.

No Landlord in the pub tonight, so ended up with Deuchars. It wasn't bad at all. A few baby Guinness's lined up for later too. Maybe a Fireball too

We've just started watching a C4 series called We are Lady Parts and hadn't realised til then that this song, which was on my playlist already, was a comedy song! But I've always liked like it :)

Feelgood song of the year and it's only January. Apologies for the rude word, but I think it's more a case of a group of feminists reclaiming the shocking definition of Doctor Johnson.

That's gone on my 'Other Stuff' playlist :D

Evening all. I’m in the middle of reading Single Minded by Andy Bracken and part of the premise of the book is re-collecting a number of the singles which his ex-partner gives to charity (bitch). One of the singles has this rather lovely b-side, which I incidentally have in my own singles library. I’ve had a Hazy Jane whilst reading and listening to I Am Kloot.
