Afternoon folks, here we are on the eve of the season, Millwall await tomorrow and we're a good 3 or 4 players short and that's before injuries. Not a dig at the club by the way more the fact the transfer window stretches a month into the season!

I'll miss the game tomorrow as up in Wooler with Mrs WG celebrating our 12th Wedding Anniversary but I'll be keeping tabs on the score and will be back in my usual seat for Huddersfield in a fortnight's time.

Just say down at The Anchor Inn and about to tuck into my first pint which is a new one for me. Introducing Solar Wave IPA from Sharps Brewery and a canny glass too. I don't have one of those in my collection.... yet!

had my first ever pint of OP at the fox and hounds ainsworth last friday, always thought it was the preserve of plaid jacket with leather elbow pad elbows wearing types sporting a magnificent beard which doubles up as a home to a small family of field mice.

i found it most agreeable to the point i bought 2 bottles of it along with 2 bottles of black sheep riggwelter which im familiar with from a previous encounter

back to back theyre pretty good, couldnt call a winner, i suspect its because im half ***ed

Just a couple of gentle starters before our meal, I'll be picking up the pace shortly haha.

Had a nice bottle of Rose with our meal and just finishing up now.
