* The Unofficial "Official" Middlesbrough v Blackburn Rovers [11/24] Match-Day thread *

I threw up a couple of times tonight watching Micah Hamilton trying to play football. I thought he was going to show a lot more than this, early days of course but he hasn't shown anything of note really has he. I'd of subbed him back off tonight midway through the second half.

Didn't do enough tonight to deserve anything from the game at home.

Good away performance by Blackburn. Gave us very little and created a couple of decent chances on the break. Yeah it hurts that their goal was offside but we got we deserve.

Lots of underwhelming performances. Pointless singling anyone out.
That makes no sense. We did everything to deserve a point.

We should have had a draw and that would have been decent.

That's your blueprint to play against us at the riverside. It's down to us to figure out how to play against it and create and score.

I hate picking players out, but that was a big opportunity for Hamilton to show us he's a player.....still waiting

The Hamilton criticism is ridiculous.

Young lad - good game against Watford forgotten because we gave up two late goals.

Nothing came off today, but he got on the ball more than most of our players and looked to make things happen.

Lath, Azaz, Burgzorg, Borges - all been "nowhere near good enough and we all know it" on here this season. Give the lad a chance.

When we were beaten by Bristol and Coventry I was upset with the performance but I'm not with that. Yes, it was poor to watch but we have so many players missing and others looking like they are running on empty. I feel we deserved a point and would have got one if the linesman could have kept up with play. Someone posted a picture of their goal and he is a good 5 yards plus behind the ball.

Disappointing night - a few too many of them at home this season. Need to get it out of our system on Saturday with a good win against Hull before the run of very difficult fixtures. We have a good promotion winning side - we just need to get / keep them on the pitch. UTB

The ball Fromm Gilbert at the end that Conway should have done far better with was more than Barlaser did all game. I like Barlaser but not as the main man so to speak. For all the through balls he can play there are too many lazy and floated passes.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but for me, he seems to pass the ball a short distance and then make a nothing run? So it's really up to the coaching staff to get hold of him and tell him, we want more from you, be more positive, effect the game more, drive at the defenders and commit them...we shouldn't give up on him...but he needs either an arm round him, or a good talking too, whatever works..young player who isn't sure how he wants to play...that's what I'm seeing?

I'm not sure, he was different gravy against Oxford.

Quick edit ;)

He needs football. League 1 or 2 would do him some good

Barlaser played a very similar one to Conway in the first half, Conway went down and called for a penalty.

He also played a superb ball over the top to Conway in the channel that Conway wasted.

Barlaser didn't have a good game, but was also not the problem
