Good half on the whole, good football that, good patience too and trusting each players ability.

We strung a lot of passes together there, numerous times, they're going to be knackered chasing that down.

Crooks having a good game, seems to much prefer the give and go style of play, as he's got good control/ feet, better than his height suggests.

That looked like a penalty.
I think he saw the slide and then tried to throw himself over it. Still you can't slide like that in the box, you are asking for someone to cheat.

I only saw the last 15 mins as I was coaching my U16s, but there was some really good controlled possession football. You can see which payers it suits and which ones need to work at it, and it isn't always the ones you think. Anyway that passing move that ended in a Peltier cross, switching the ball, pulling defenders out of position, playing patiently, would never have had that with the last manager. He'd have screamed to launch it into the box. With a slightly better fit of player, that kind of football will pay dividends at this level.

Yeh nice to see us in that final third playing triangles and being patient. Although Sporar has been somewhat quietish he is so intelligent with his passing and movement. Hope he can bag one in the second half

You're right I think. Its good to watch too. Nobby will be along in a bit to tell us warnock would be 3 up at half time in this game.

Other than Crooks, I thought we looked a bit leggy until we scored. Last five minutes you could see the confidence spread throughout the team.
Enjoying the pass and move football and noticed how we seem to get the ball back in play as quickly as possible from throw in's and freekicks (except those around their box)

Duncan unlucky with his shot but noticed sporar was right there if it was knocked back out

Slow start, but we looked great in the last ten minutes or so. That was probably a whole 90 minutes worth of ball possession for a Warnock game. We were moving them around well and pressing to force them into errors as soon as we lost possession. Need a second now to kill them off.
Looking good nice link up play just need that second goal

I thought something similar, just seen the half time stats.. They tell a very different story. 11 shots to 1 84 passes in the final third to 58. 6 corners to 0 I think.

Impressive first half. Much prefer everything being first time into the box, and into feet.

I think he'll be looking at one or even two wingbacks tho who are better crossers of the ball.

Interesting Preston sat deeper than Millwall so as to mitigate the runs of Watmore and Sporar. I can see a lot of teams doing that now this season.

Let's just call time at 45😂

How many games have we been winning? I was raving away at Luton and WBA.

If we could hold a lead we'd be amazing. I
