We don’t have a better squad, it’s delusional to think we have a better squad than a team that was in the prem for years and kept most of its players last season and signed 4 premier league player, players like Rodon a 10m Cb.

I switched off after 82 minutes, because you can just see it coming from us with 2nd rate players….how barlassor gets in before howson beggars belief

It’s play offs at best. Frustrating as we were the better team a big chunk of the game but they punished our mistakes.

They looked a bit faster and stronger across the pitch.

We need a left back desperately!

Conway not a no.10 so why play him there. Should’ve took one of Hackney or Barlaser off and played Conway and Lath together with Azaz behind them or put Burgzorg no.10 (should’ve started) and put Conway on the left.

Several poor performances tonight, maybe 3 changes was too many?

Borges beaten for pace, Barlaser kept giving the ball away, Doak not his usual self, McGree looked shot 15 mins before he came off, Lath had no service

Still we had chances at 1-1, put one away and it’s a different result.

We are not going to finish top 2 - our record against the top 6 is pretty poor so far.

Agreed, we’re up there every year but squad building we are playing catch up. If we don’t go up we get 30m for lath and Hackney, and buy 4 first team players for 30m and our squad gets closer to those big prem clubs again. It’s the only way to really do this.

That's what was missing for that point today.

Strange 'lack of energy ' for the most part ..

Look at our last successful team. Grant, Clayton, Friend, Ayala, Gibson, Dimi, Nuge etc all huge characters who didn’t hide when the going got tough.
