* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Swansea City [04/24] Match Day Thread *

It's more that today was comfortably their hardest remaining match and they won it comfortably.

I hope you're right, but I don't see them dropping points in 3 of their remaining 5 games and us winning all of ours.
Do be fair Rotherham took 4 points off us, sheff wed 1 point so there are no easy games and teams with alleged nothing to play for can be really dangerous as the pressure is off.

As above all we can do is try and win games of football and what happens will be an accumulation of the seasons efforts.

It would have been interesting to see how many Latte Lath would have got playing with 10 decent players.

Assuming we can win this one, we've got three very difficult games on paper ahead. In the unlikely event we get 7 points from those, the playoff picture would look very different going into the last two. Lose more than one, and we won't make it.
Long and short of it is we've got an away record worthy of a playoff contender, but dropped far too many points at home to deserve to be there.

It really is a case of who makes the least mistakes here. On a brighter note the sun is out and lovely and warm in the East Stamd 👍
