* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Swansea City [04/24] Match Day Thread *

Been an incredibly dull half.

It doesn't particularly matter now, Norwich winning has taken a lot of the motivation away, but I'm bored stiff in the stands.

Us catching Norwich surely isn't dependent on them losing every single game they play though is it? Their next two are away, and their away record is rubbish, 2 away wins this year I think.
Many twists and turns yet!

All we can do is win our games and if we miss out thats on us, no body elses results matter, we didnt do enough over the season for a number of reasons!

He took his goal well. I was not expecting him to be able to get a shot off from there, but good finish through a crowd.

Not a great game to be honest.

Have no idea how to envisgae that goal from the commentary.. but I'll take it. Get In !

The keeper spilled the ball and it came to LL, but by the time he got it, he had his back to goal and at least four defenders inbetween him and the goal. But you could tell he was determined to shoot and wasn't considering laying it off to anyone else, despite the fact that his chance was pretty much gone. So he bobbled a shot through the crowd and somehow it evaded everyone and crept in off the post.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Latte Lath finish on 15+ for the season, would have been interesting if he’d played the full season.

Latte Lath looks like a much more confident player with a lot more composure than what we saw earlier in the season. Hopefully with a full pre-season here he will kick on and be the 15+ goal striker we need next season.

Swansea play possession football but don't seem to do a lot with it. The few attacks they had were from our mistakes.

It can lead to long periods of dull football.

Greenwood anonymous so far today (after a good game last week) except one decent cross towards Jones - Would be keen to see Gilbert or Silvera on.

Fancy us on the break if they try to force things because they look terrible at the back.

It's more that today was comfortably their hardest remaining match and they won it comfortably.

I hope you're right, but I don't see them dropping points in 3 of their remaining 5 games and us winning all of ours.

He will get 20+ next season, given an injury free season.

A very good buy at, what, 4 million

That's if he's still the main man up top, if he played every minute next season then yeah I think he'd get 20+ but I imagine we will sign another striker and they'll share the workload. Especially when him and Coburn never seem to stay fit for a decent run of games.
