Absolute rock in that final 30 mins. I love how he said in his interview 'I'm buzzing'. Keep it local lad.

Definitely back to his best. I think it often goes a miss that he's racked up 200 games for a home town club.

Hopefully with us for many more years to come. Class since Carrick came in (like most).

MOTM for me
 
Good solid championship side Millwall.
We could have easily lost that one.
But we were the better team.
I was very underwhelmed at Michael Carricks appointment.
How wrong I was.
And how right was Steve Gibson.
Really enjoying his brand of football.

what a different TWO men make, the character of the one gone out and the character of the one come in
 
As well as we played at times I was never sure we were going to see that out. We were very sloppy in the last 20 minutes and a better side would have punished us.
 
I enjoyed the first half but thought we might lose after we scored…
we need to start getting behind the defence and turn them round…
tbh I don’t think anyone played too poorly though and was a good team effort…
I think the substitutions didn’t help… im hoping jones takes his exclusion on the chin and dives forward and improves to somewhere like he was last season…
 
I actually thought we made them look good today. They're a solid side nothing else, highly doubt they've got the quality in their squad to mount a promotion challenge. Hard work will get you so far in this division but the best teams have quality as well.

That said, these can be tricky encounters so pleased to squeeze through but I'm pretty sure Carrick will be sitting at home tonight wondering how that wasn't 4 or 5.

Overall, probably roofie. But as good as we were in the first half we were pretty poor in the second. We defended quite well but should never have been backs against the wall for the last 30 minutes.

Our final pass was either sloppy, in the first half, or Millwall defended brilliantly.

We continued that sloppyness in the second half but were doing it closer to our own goal.

3 points, probably deserved and we move on but we can play better than that.
