Every time we get the chance to get forward he just puts his foot on the ball, waits 5 seconds before passing backwards

Did you miss the brilliant ball he played into midfield just after a load of idiots had screamed at him moments earlier to launch it long?

I really want Barlaser to come good, but it just isn't happening yet. His passing radar is a little off again tonight.

Edit - which links to Norman's post above this one. I feel Hackney would've asserted himself on the game more by now.

Disagree about his passing tonight (aside from straight from the throw in) he’s played some lovely balls through.

Playing ok. It's a funny one. Couple of players really off. Jones looks like the miss has thrown him. His movement has been superb. Keeps popping up in all sorts of dangerous positions but he's been so sloppy with the ball. Crooks too.

We miss Hackney so much. Keep passing back and knocking the ball around too close to our own goal. Hackney puts us on the front foot.

Engels is doing well. VDB too.

Whoever comes out with the best attitude wins this.

Engel playing well, defence generally good. Front four have been a bit wasteful but glad we're in front.

Disagree on this. Today he's come deep, into the centre back area many times and got on the ball plenty. Not seen him missplace a pass either.

Need an improvement 2nd half. Can’t believe they will be that bad all game.

I thought both teams looked dangerous going forward with us edging the game and the scoreline shows that. A little more composure from Jones and we could have been 2-0 up.

I was wondering if Jones is being allowed to roam more, he seems to be popping up as the highest man in the box and LAtte Lath dropping off.
