* The unofficial "Official" Boro v Forest Match-day Thread and Programme *

13 points out of the last 5 games is automatic promotion form.

I reckon Bournemouth's season is over.

The chasing pack are breathing down their necks.

This the form table:

Blackburn 15
Sheff U 13
Boro 13
Forest 10
QPR 10

Bournemouth are 22nd on form with only 3 points from the last 15

If only we had a finisher. That said it's very impressive to watch.

To think Wilder has been working with them for 7 weeks and none 'his players'. I wonder if Warnock is sat at home watching thinking 'f*ck they look good' 😂
He'll be thinking how he can spin this on his next Talksport appearance that he should have been given longer because he had built a winning team.

Who was it on the old board that used to say the position of manager is overstated and the over riding factor is how much you spend on player wages? I think we can put that to bed, a decent manager is worth his weight in gold and a bad one like Warnock will severely hold you back.

Wilder is a complete breath of fresh air, got them playing as a team.
not just playing as a team, but playing the ball on the floor, short passing, to feet most of the time, controlling possession, pressing high and as a team, always looking for the give and go and third man runs on the edge of the box. We have got in behind teams more in the last 6 games than we have all season.

Superb, entertaining, and so far, successful

Worth a mention for the defence too, 4 cleansheets on the trot

I don't want to sound all Newcastle or Sunderland....but that was the biggest crowd in the championship of any team this season and I'm not sure anyone else will beat it.

The fans are warming to the Wilder revolution

What was the crowd?

No, it's because he tries but is limited quality, good squad player, can always trust his effort, but ultimately I think Wilder will look to replace him

Really? I’m surprised at that Mart, I think Watmore is a really important player for us. For me we look a better team with him in the team, but saying that we we were superb in the first half today without him.

I think he just lacks the consistency for where we want to be, and Wilder will be ruthless. He's honest, he works hard (but blows after 60), has a bit of pace. He's a great bench option, but I don't see him as the starter that some do, and I don't think Wilder does either. I think some of us overestimate him based on a great 6 months last season, but that was half his career goals right there. It was a great pruple patch but not his normal level.

It’s alright mate, I witnessed it too - you are not alone !!
Got to be the most complete team performance by a country mile in the last four or five years.
Never felt so excited and nervous since the Brighton match.
I had half the left eye on that clock above the exit under the North West Corner.
As time ran down the last ten minutes seemed like 90!
Extra time seemed - forever.
The passing was inch - perfect.
Our heads didnt drop.
We didnt sit back and play the stodgy stuff of previous management.
We had shape, discipline, determination, direction, devotion to the cause, team work, played for our buddies, put our bodies on the line....I need oxygen - the air is so thin up here (y)
