* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Blackburn Rovers [03/24] Match-Day thread *

Do we still have Hoppe? I mean we'd rather play anyone up front than an actual CF on the payroll.

He must be really bad 😂

It’s clear we need more natural goal scorers to help ELL .. that’s held us back massively this season.. putting it right in the summer has to be priority number one if we want to challenge next season.

No different to the last 3 games really just without the 3 points, we couldn't keep winning with those kinds of performances.

Unlucky from Jones; shocking miss by Silvera - harder to miss.
Clean sheet (y) but surely the end of any chance of the play offs.

Our tactics were spot on.
Carrick had us in really good shape.
Chance after chance went begging.
Individual errors and a poor skill level in front of goal let us down...... again.
Not sure what else Carrick can do, he must be SO frustrated with them.

That was great game to watch, and no referee complaints for a change. Three games in a week have had an impact on us, but fair play, no complaints aimed at anyone on the pitch. Izzy did fine considering his layoff. A playoff place is getting harder and harder now.

Deliberately stayed off the thread today so I could just watch the match.
As disappointing as that result was today, I think that's a match we would have lost a few weeks ago. We kept a clean sheet which is a big positive.
We actually look a team that makes team beat us now. We just don't have that quality on the final third to take advantage of our chances.

Usual issues of poor passing, especially O'Brien and McGree.
Grrenwood is not the player he thinks he is, cant trap a ball or pass.
And Silvera? jeez
