* The Unofficial "Official" Blackpool v Boro Matchday Thread and Programme *

I recall saying about Sporar that he scores a lot of goals with his first touch. An instinctive striker. I was beginning to think I'd succumbed to highlight reel optimism but no, he really is. Great win. Someone posted a thread about coming from behind being the next big test. Well, come from behind in stoppage time. That's late 90s Man Utd stuff.

A great win in the end but my god we made it hard work against a second string Blackpool team. A proper left sided wing back is crucial to the way wilder plays Peltier is not the answer for that and Bamba does not have the legs to be a wilder centre back, to slow as the covering defender or to get forward

An interesting snippet of information, This was the first game my HDA (Home Draw Away), world beating algorithm has got the boro result right since it went live about 3 weeks ago.

Phew, we got there in the end 😳😁

Credit must given to Blackpool to make sure the game went ahead, they gave a great account of themselves & count themselves unlucky to not take one point but we're over the moon the football gods were shining down on the mighty Boro

Two different performances this week. Man Cityesque on Saturday, Burnleyesque today but… six points so far this week. You have to fight in this League and we are. Credit to Blackpool for playing as well. First time we’ve beaten them this season. They will take points off other teams. Wouldn’t mind Josh Bowler.

Great end to the game but we could easily have dropped points.

Blackpool can count themselves unlucky not to get a point and we let them back into the game after we scored.

Missed both Howson and Taylor and Paddy playing in the back 3.

But the run continues and we played well in patches.

It's not good for people of our age to go through that. 🧙‍♂️🧙‍♂️🧙‍♂️
Our dad phoned and said, it's just as well as I wasn't there as I'd have been on the pitch.

I said "give over, I'm almost 60".

He took my late mother to Ayresome once in the 50's for her only match.

Apparently the Boro won and when he turned round at the final whistle, she was nowhere to be seen.

He then noticed her on the pitch jumping about with other fans and the players🏃.

I'm my mam's son alright 😇
