Listening to the post match phone in. More of Maddison talking inane drivel. I think I'd rather have Dana doing co-commentary. At least she's articulate and has more insight than Maddison. He just repeats the same thing over and over again.

Carrick does pick the team and for.ations and is ultimately been founding wanting on many occasions this season, not just the players who deserve to be roasted, what are the coaches doing our defensive issues from crosses set pieces is atrocious our attacking intent when attempting corners or set pieces is devoid of ideas that's on the manager and his coaching staff and has been an issue since he come inn!

Maybe if we where more defensively sound we could give ourselves a fighting chance in every game.

Teams no to let us have the ball and eventually we will create an opportunity for them l, really frustrating as we play some great stiff at times but the negatives all over the pitch in both boxes far out Weigh the good at the moment.
 
Honestly, I don't think the players are playing great but is Carrick really putting them in a position to succeed right now. That game was a copy and paste of the Bristol City match.

He needs to be pragmatic and try something different. Like the 3 at the back.

Appalling performance from everyone including Carrick, simply no where near good enough, absolute disgrace.
Loan players bring nothing to the squad at all,send them back waste of money...

Posession football doesn't work when you don't have an attacking threat, as all it does is lure you into a fals sense of security and lure's players forward to try and help (when they have little attacking ability, it's not worth it). This then leaves massive gaps to get countered or just normally attacked from.

I'm all for playing the ball out from the back too though, it's better than lumping it forward and lumping it forward won't work either as we would just give the ball away faster. At least we wouldn't get hit too much out of position though. We just have to accept that because we have little threat, it's not going to work in a lot of games and when we go behind we're toast.

70% possession today and 0 shots on target, don't think I've ever seen that happen before, certainly not at home.
 
We really need to look at prioritising bringing in some pace in the Summer, we're such a slow, plodding side without Jones or Latte Lath, I mean at least with him on the way back he might offer us some different but there really is so little dynamism in the team otherwise.

You could see it happening though today. For all the possession we had (surprised it was 70%), we were never fluent or threatening. Full backs, wide men, midfield were all terrible today
 
We were absolutely garbage but Carrick has to carry the can for this. Why isn’t our first choice keeper starting? His distribution is so much better and he can play out from the back. Ayling is way too slow and does not have the passion for the shirt. Aging journeyman and no idea how he gets in ahead of Djiksteel who at least puts everything in. On the left Engel must be sat thinking what have I done wrong to not get in that team. Engel is one of our best outlets and is often wide open as an outlet ball. Thomas has done absolutely nothing in the game time he has been given. Poor decision from Carrick to drop him after the Leicester game. Barlaser is way too slow and way too negative. The crowd got on his back today because he was wasteful and negative. How he didn’t get the hook at half time God only knows. Why does Captain Cautious Carrick leave returning players on the bench, particularly when we don’t have a recognised forward available. Carrick should have started Latte Lath. Finally substituting Azaz and McGree was just madness. Our most constructive players who can get you a goal - Carrick couldn’t have made two worse subs. Starting to ask some serious questions about Carrick as we look nervously over our shoulder to the bottom of the table. Big few weeks for the Boss and he needs to start getting the big calls right. He got them badly wrong today.
 
Was possibly the worst performance possible on the back of the ticket pricing issue.
I'm not surprised the club can't stand on it's own two feet given how many times we shoot ourselves in the foot.
