The Turkeys who voted for christmas

Absolutely loved sprouts, could have a playecfull of just sprouts 😍
Well don’t invite granny around otherwise you’ll have an afternoon fart fest on your hands when watching the Queen.

Mind you thinking about it it may be a solution to the gas shortage crisis.

Reading this thread feels a bit like watching that black and white Victoria Wood sketch of the two working class women in the blitz, having a knees-up, saying they're having a great time, thank-you-very-much-Mr-Hitler, while their houses are just piles of rubble behind them.

Chicken and other meats are affected in exactly the same way.
Are they?
As I ordered 50 chicken supremes, 30 8oz rump steaks, 6kg of chicken livers on Monday which got delivered yesterday. Yes, even chicken livers are back in stock now after the worker shortages due to the pingdemic.

Only they probably didn't vote for the war. That's the insanity of it. People like @Erimus74 and @Lottowyn actually voted for food shortages. I honestly think there is something wrong with them. It's just not normal to be so proud of doing things that are damaging your own country. Something not right in the head with people who find food shortages funny

Most people who voted for leave were convinced by the daily drip feed of anti-EU poison in the media over a period of years. Johnson et al then made sense to them. I suspect they are now 'celebrating' just to wind you up.

I’ve never understood why people wait until the very last minute to buy Xmas food stuffs and then complain that it was too expensive, or no choice and then blame it on something like politics instead of their own stupidity.
i used to work in a supermarket back in the day and the amount of people looking for xmas puds or mint sauce on xmas eve was unreal. then they would kick off when we told them we sold about about 2 weeks prior!

Haha, something wrong with me, don't feel sorry for me fella, without been disrespectful to anyone particular person I couldn't be more happy with my life, I have everything I need right here, a loving family, good friends, a job I've had for 36 years with a company that goes from strength to strength both here & abroad

If you mean you feeling sorry for me because I don't need to start thread after thread hoping to start an argument, don't constantly play the victim card, don't constantly call out I'm been bullied when someone replies to me, never feel the need to call people names, or insult anyone, or lie to try & prove a point & each morning, I don't feel the need to search through the Internet looking for something else to be offended to then post to hopefully start another argument

It does seem ironic @SmallTown that you & I voted the same, whether you decided to change your mind, or not, you still, in your words, voted for food shortages, etc, no matter how you dress it up

I would rather say something nice to someone, or do something nice for someone, than shout abuse all the time, I'm a happy person who values things that's free in life, health of my love ones, the love of my family & friendship, the last thing I want from you is your sympathy, its the least I need to be honest

Have a nice day, well try to

Ironically we didn't vote the same at all.

I don't mean to sound offensive, and you seem decent on your footy and music threads but when the brexit subject comes around you sound like a simpleton. Making jokes or deflecting from discussions around food shortages and spiralling energy prices. It genuinely feels like you don't actually understand what you have done. You don't get the gravity of destroying our supply chain.

Congratulations. That doesn't mean you will be able to get them in 3 months time.

It's patriotic though. I love Britain so much that I wanted to cause it, and its people, irreparable harm.
Yeah, this is the thing that winds me up. I attacked Brexit on twitter and I was called "unpatriotic".

I'm unpatriotic because I don't want my countrymen to starve?

I'm unpatriotic because I went the less well off to be able to heat their houses this winter?

I mean we are in an untold reverse world here. Where isolating your country and damaging it's economy is "patriotic". This is how brainwashed the cults of brexit are. It's like they don't understand how insane their defence of brexit has become.

I'm saying things will differ from different suppliers.
You're right but when the largest companies in the supply chains are saying that there are huge issues to solve, then people in the industry tend to take notice.

People in supply chains tend to get creative when there are short term problems; what we have now aren't short term problems. We have cut off access to foreign markets and to foreign workers. There are surely intrinsic issues with the markets (both labour and business), but you normally wouldn't make trading more difficult; which is what we've done, as a nation.

One of the get outs for politicians is that a lot of the electorate can convince themselves that any problems arising from a given policy won't necessarily affect them as a consequence. This won't apply in this instance.

If you sold out of Xmas puds over two weeks before Xmas then I would say your buyer should have been sacked
