The Traitors.

I said at the very start of this thread and will say so again. It would be far, far better if the audience didn’t know who the traitors were throughout. If none of us knew who was faithful and traitor at the climax on Friday it would go down as one of the absolute great modern TV moments. Knowing Harry was absolutely shafting her took away from it a bit.

I can’t agree. I think a lot of people would have worked out Harry was a traitor anyway.

I think the pile on from mollie would be worse as well on social media

You’d have to change the format, you wouldn’t be able to go to the room to see what they are saying in private to the camera.

You’d have to see a lot more of their interactions than we do now, and it would be edited to suit the narrative, eg keep people invested don’t show the things people will clock that someone’s a traitor

I think they’ve nailed it as a show for me but that’s to my taste

I agree. The machinations of the traitors and the reasons for their decision is a big part of the programme.

I think you'd also have to do away with most of the individual interviews where players give their thoughts. If you only showed those from faithful, it would be obvious who the traitors were.

However, it should not be Beyonce the wit of the BBC to do a shorter online edit without those details. Still be hard to avoid finding out in conversation and on here etc

But you’d miss their deliberations, you’d miss the intrigue and I think that’s an important part of the show to observe.

I think there is a distinct difference between being well crafted and scripted. Personally I think it's down to the editing, I don't believe it's scripted. I really don't.

Would the edit include the thoughts of all the single ladies?

Not sure what would have happened if it was 2-2 but he knew Andrew was going that way
Then I believe the two who were nominated (in this case Harry and Andrew) won't have been allowed to say anything or vote again, then Jaz and Mollie would have had to have the casting vote, and been able to discuss who they banish together. This would have played a huge roll in the future because Jaz could've spoke to Mollie about his concerns with Harry and potentially convinced Mollie that both are traitors and make her see Harry isn't innocent. That may have been the only part in which Jaz f**ked up.

Other than that, Jaz played a fantastic game and was let down by Mollie who choose to pick Harry based on her feelings towards him, more than the facts that presented themselves.

Fair play to Harry though. He played a blinder and he hoodwinked Mollie big style - which clinched him the prize

Arguably Jaz made a mistake voting for the wrong traitor first. Always going to be hard for him once it was down to 3.

Was reading that the winner is and has been in a relationship with a CBBC presenter. Now it may or may not have been the reason he got a place on the programme but you cant help but think its all a bit cosy. Ordinary contestants?

He is.

She's the sister of singer Conor Maynard and YouTuber Jack Maynard (who was on I'm a Celeb).

Never opened this thread as hadn't seen it before. Just binge watched UK series 1 and 2. Loved it.

That Harry kid in the second season was brilliant. That move where he got the shield then recruited was genius.

Kept the perfect traitor to take into the final with him because Andrew was never going to be clever enough to get Harry out. Really felt for Molly at the end because she clearly put her feelings for Harry in front of logic. And you could tell that was an awful moment for both if them. It was cracking TV though.
