The Top 8?

Cream always rises, and now is the time it starts to show. I think there is a case for saying that the present top 8 may well constitute the final top 8 - with one possible exception: us. You can make a case for Norwich and Watford. Teams like Stoke and Swansea bossed us for long periods too, but I do think the three relegated teams, plus Ipswich, Coventry, West Brom, Sunderland & Hull have the quality to stay involved. You look at the goal difference and that's often a sign. Even while Preston lingered in the top six last season, their GD was negative.
