I’ve dropped onto The Denial of Death by Ernest Becker as recommended within the book.

Anyone else read anything that stays with them for a long time?
 
Mentioned it before, but Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance is a great book.
Despite reading Z&TAOMM about every 10 years since university, I'm not sure I've ever got close to understanding it. I keep falling into Pirsig's gumption trap. I found out what a shim is though.
