Despite reading Z&TAOMM about every 10 years since university, I'm not sure I've ever got close to understanding it. I keep falling into Pirsig's gumption trap. I found out what a shim is though.

Doesn’t fit with the demographic of this message board in the slightest but I read all four volumes of the Heartstopper graphic novel a few months ago. And it absolutely broke me because it was a life I could have had but haven’t.
