Just been driving past a field that is being cut and there are big mounds of grass ready to be taken away.
Reminded me of back in the day when they used to cut the fields around Pally Park.
The grass mounds used to be there for ever and gave us endless amounts of fun back in the day - I can almost smell the grass just from them from memory.
I’m talking mid to late 60’s - it will prob be all housing now.
