Yup, it's still winds me up.
Pretty much all of our signings since 4th July 2018 have come from London clubs (Marcus Browne coming in from Oxford)
Marcus Bettinelli - Fulham (Born in Camberwell)
Djed Spence - Fulham (Born in London)
Anfernee Dijksteel - Charlton (Born in Amsterdam)
Grant Hall - QPR (Born in Brighton)
Marvin Johnson - Oxford (born in Birmingham)
Marc Bola - Ex Arsenal (Born in Grenwich)
George Saville - Millwall (Born in Camberley)
Marcus Browne - Oxford (Born in London)
Ashley Fletcher -West Ham (Born in Keighley)
If anything we should start looking a bit further afield! The London lads know they are on to a good thing here, they can live like kings for next to nowt, get plenty of game time under their belt and be in a team that constantly over achieves. I can't stress that enough. Looking at our cup runs, years in the premier league our European adventures. Kieffer Moore has moved to a total headcase of a club, Joe Williams will be paying out a fortune living in Bristol and Charlie Goode.. well fair play to the lad. He'll be playing footy about 20 miles away from where he was born. Obviously more of a home bird. Still that's not always where the magic happens, **** the local rags obsession with the cheese schnitzel we've got a bloody good club here and a fantastic place to live to boot!
