Having read various comments about the win at Stoke I think it's worth pointing out some basic 'fan psychology' to help get things in perspective
- As a general comment the other team will create chances, if you can't hack it then I suggest football is not for you.
- All opposition attacks will seem horrifyingly threatening (see Harry Pearson's grandad in The Far Corner........."I don't like the look of this.....").
- All the Boro's attacks will seem pathetically impotent.
- When the opposition misses a chance then it's because the Boro were lucky.
- When the Boro miss a chance it's because we are fecking useless.
